What a stunning hotel! The rooms look very different on the website than they do on Google and live (the yellow rooms are the ones you’re getting) But does not really matter since the beda are very comfortable. But the view from the sea path is spectacular! I would come back just for it. The food is good, the breakfast covers all necessities (nespresso for the coffee lovers). The whale watching tower is cute but the binoculars are not the best. Cleaning Service is from 8am to 6pm, which may impact your afternoon rest time after diving

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Frühstücksbuffett sehr vielseitig, kommt geschmacklich aber nicht an kleinere Häuser ran.

Hotel excelente, muito tranquilo, ótima localização frente ao mar, com muito espaço de estacionamento, ótimo pequeno almoço, com empregados(as) simpáticos e eficientes, quartos espacosos com uma boa varanda ideal para um bom momento ao final do dia. Ficámos sete dias neste Hotel e adoramos, aconselhamos aos nossos familiares e amigos.

We had a great stay overall (8/10)! The staff was super friendly and provided truly wonderful service – they surprised us with bathrobes folded into hearts on the bed and a bottle of champagne, which was a lovely touch. The view from the sea-facing room was absolutely stunning and definitely worth booking! The only thing we didn't connect with as much was the breakfast, though that's just a matter of personal taste.  Verificada Good stay ☺Reception staff very helpful. Rooms very clean. Pools lovely though we were slightly off peak so not many children which may possibly change the vibe. Very convenient location for travelling around the island. ☹There is a small wasteland between the hotel and sea that is not that attractive. Small niggle - the pool table has lost some balls including the cue ball. Most likely because the net has a hole and they have fallen down inside the table leg.

 Verificada Una estada inoblidable en un lloc amb molt d’encant, on la comoditat, les instal·lacions i, sobretot, l’excepcional trac ☺Hem tingut una estada meravellosa al Hotel Vale do Navio. És un lloc tranquil, acollidor i amb molt d’encant, perfecte per descansar i alhora molt ben situat per descobrir l’illa de São Miguel. Les instal·lacions ens han agradat molt, especialment la piscina interior, la sauna i el gimnàs, que fan que després d’un dia recorrent l’illa puguis arribar a l’hotel i tenir un espai perfecte per relaxar-te. Les habitacions també són còmodes i tot plegat ha fet que ens sentíssim molt a gust durant l’estada. Però, sens dubte, el que més volem destacar és el tracte del personal. Han estat amables, atents i propers en tot moment i han contribuït moltíssim a fer que la nostra estada fos tan confortable. En un dels dies em vaig trobar bastant malament i es van preocupar sincerament per mi, estant pendents de com em trobava i ajudant en tot el que podien. És un detall que valorem moltíssim i que no oblidarem. Ens emportem un record molt bonic del Vale do Navio, tant pel lloc com, sobretot, per les persones que hi treballen. Un tracte magnífic i una estada que ha superat les nostres expectatives. Tornaríem una i mil vegades més. ❤️ Un lloc encantador que recomanem de tot cor!

 Verificada Wunderbar! ☺Wunderbarer Garten Park und super Meerzugang - zum Schnorcheln und Schwimmen - schöner Pool und herrlich ruhige, schöne Zimmer. Tolle Meer-Terrasse mit  wunderbaren Meerblick. Sehr gutes Restaurant. Empfang war super nett und humorvoll. ☹Garten und Wege wirken nicht gepflegt. An machen Stellen (zb Pool oder Meer Terrasse) wird der Müll nicht entleert.  Verificada Not to be posted. ☺Staff. helping us change room, advise on tours. Hearing Quail and Cory's Sheerwater was awesome. Loved that staff are planning to capture stray dog to relocate to a shelter. We were not bothered by the dog taking water from the pool, but it clearly is a disabled dog as it is missing much of its lower jaw from abuse or accident (unlikely birth defect). ☹lack of empathy for stray dog. There should be sign asking guests not to feed it... Would like to see hotel giving food scraps to this malnourished dog.
