Thank you for choosing Açorsonho Hotels. To ensure a safe, comfortable and transparent stay, we ask that you carefully read the following terms and conditions applicable to your booking and stay.

1. Check-in and Check-out

  • The check-in can be done from 16.00.

  • The check-out must take place no later than 11.00am on the day of departure.

  • Requests for early check-in or late check-out must be made in advance and are subject to availability and an additional cost.

2. Bookings and payments

  • All bookings must be guaranteed with a valid credit card or payment in advance, according to the conditions chosen at the time of booking.

  • For certain rates or promotions, you may be asked to pay in full in advance and non-refundable.

  • Your booking will only be considered confirmed upon receipt of payment or guarantee.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • The cancellation policy varies depending on the rate selected. The options generally available are:

    • Flexible Rate: Free cancellation up to X days before date of arrival. After this period or in the event of a no-show, the first night will be charged.

    • Non-Refundable Rate: The total amount will be charged at the time of booking and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, amendment or no-show.

  • We recommend that you read the specific conditions carefully when booking.

4. Breakfast

  • Breakfast is included in some rates. Check at the time of booking if your rate includes it.

  • It is served buffet-style in the hotel restaurant, usually between 07.30 and 10.30 (times subject to seasonal changes).

  • Dietary restrictions or special needs must be communicated in advance.

5. Children and Extra Beds

  • Children are welcome.

  • Free accommodation for children up to 3 years old, using a cot (subject to availability).

  • Extra beds are available on prior request and may incur additional charges depending on age:

    • 4 to 12 years: supplement per night.

    • From the age of 13: considered an adult.

  • The maximum capacity for extra beds or cots varies according to the type of room.

6. Behaviour and Responsibility

  • All guests must respect the rules of behaviour and good living practices in the hotel.

  • Smoking is prohibited indoors, except in areas that have been properly signposted.

  • The hotel reserves the right to terminate the stay, without refund, in the event of inappropriate behaviour, violation of the law or these conditions.

7. Pets

Pets are not allowed, except guide dogs with prior notice and proper documentation.

8. Lost or Damaged Objects

  • The hotel cannot be held responsible for objects left in communal areas or rooms.

  • We recommend using the safe available in the rooms.

  • Any damage caused to the hotel's facilities or equipment due to negligence or misuse will be charged to the person responsible.

9. Force Majeure

The hotel is not responsible for service failures or interruptions caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, strikes, legal restrictions, etc.

10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

  • These terms are governed by Portuguese law.

  • For conflict resolution, the Alternative Dispute Resolution Body or, as a last resort, the Azores District Court may be contacted.
